What do you need to start?

Attorney or firm name, case name and number if there is one, county, deadline, and the subject's name and last-known address. For six or more names, send the list.

Do I need a California case?

No. California, federal, or another state's case that needs a California address or California service. You must have a lawful purpose — usually service of process or litigation.

What is a locate?

A written report on one person: current and prior addresses, phones, and related names (AKAs, family, associates) with addresses and phones when they hit. $125. Not a serve. Not a declaration.

What if you don't find them?

You still pay the locate. That search is the work. If you need a signed paper for publication or posting, order due diligence — $175.

Is due diligence a serve?

No. Diligence is the declaration. Serving papers is a separate ProServer CA job.

When is it a case map?

Six or more names on the same case. $750 covers up to 8 names, one report. Additional names are quoted before we run.
